Philip Wylie

Chapter 10

Half the people in the hospital are insane. Most Doctors don't give a shit.

Atom bombs are murder.

Chapter Xl

Ah yes. Man. the American momism madness.

Luckily I bought the first six queen albums. In the first or second were words for a teenager to live by. quote: Don't believe a word momma says and don't believe all you read in the bible. end quote. Maybe different words but it's the gist of the problem.

quote: "Gentlemen, mom is a jerk." end quote.

Half of them are alcoholics, the rest are on downers. They don't know dick about anything and go on parades to bring about fucked up laws such as prohibition.

Man, Wylie really rags them out.

quote: Cinderella kidnaps the Prince and then mortgages the palace to hire herself a gigolo. end quote.

Of course not all women are like this. Just the common woman.

Chapter 12

We figured out how to control fire to our advantage a long time ago. About 14,000 years ago, we started to control metal. Barely self aware creatures, just settling down after chasing food around millions of years.

Everything changed. The metal age was war. It gave its masters power to kill in great numbers. A leader with an army of men armed with sharp metal pointy things could, and did, slaughter their neighbors, take what was consider valuable, rape the children and kill the rest.

The first biggest business. The business that still rules after 14,000 years.

The most famous of our Metal takeovers was North, Middle and South America.

Maniac murders and thieves came storming into the Americas, calling the land theirs. The biggest genocide in written history. 50 million natives wiped off their home land so the metal heads could rip the metals out of the earth and turn it into wealth. Riches.

Poison the rivers with cyanide to fill fort Nox.

The Metal Business has raped and shaped our world.

We have all become part of the business of ripping resources out of the Earth and reshaping it.

It has been a test for our instinct for survival. Our blind lust for metal is killing us. And even though we know it.

We continue to be shaped by that which we all have to have.

For the record, oil is one of the many metal byproduct.

Wylie didn't say it like that. He does chew out the same point. Just another side.
